Position Overview
The Managing Partner – Atlanta Market will lead the strategic growth, operations, and business development of the firm’s Atlanta office, with a strong emphasis on an entrepreneurial mindset and spirit to build and scale the platform locally. As the market leader and face of the firm in Atlanta, this individual will drive client engagement, recruit and develop brokerage talent, and shape the firm’s footprint in the market.
This role also plays a critical part in firm-wide leadership—serving on the Executive Committee to collaborate on strategic initiatives and ensure consistency across all markets. The Managing Partner will work closely with leaders in the Charlotte office and other markets to foster a culture of shared success, knowledge exchange, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Market Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute a strategic, entrepreneurial growth plan for the Atlanta market aligned with firm-wide objectives.
- Serve as the public face of the firm in Atlanta, building visibility through community involvement, professional associations, and industry events.
- Identify and pursue new leasing, sales, and property management opportunities to expand the firm’s market share.
Broker Recruitment & Team Leadership
- Recruit, mentor, and retain top-performing commercial real estate professionals.
- Lead a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on professionalism, accountability, and mutual success.
- Support brokers with training, resources, and strategic direction to drive individual and team growth.
Business Development
- Establish and maintain relationships with property owners, investors, and tenants throughout Greater Atlanta.
- Identify emerging market trends and opportunities for portfolio expansion and service diversification.
- Partner with marketing and research teams to enhance the firm’s brand presence in the Atlanta market.
Operational & Financial Management
- Oversee local P&L performance, ensuring profitability, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with corporate service lines to deliver consistent, high-quality results across property management, leasing, and sales.
- Uphold compliance with company policies, ethics, and industry regulations.
Cross-Market Collaboration
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with leadership in the Charlotte office and other markets to ensure cohesive service delivery, joint business development, and shared client relationships.
- Participate actively in the firm’s Executive Committee, contributing to strategy discussions, best-practice sharing, and company-wide initiatives.
- Promote communication and cultural alignment across offices to strengthen the firm’s integrated regional platform.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in commercial real estate brokerage, market leadership, or business development.
- Active Georgia real estate broker license (or ability to obtain).
- Deep network within the Atlanta CRE community.
- Proven leadership experience recruiting and managing teams.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset and spirit, with a track record of building business, creating new opportunities, and driving growth in a competitive market.
