Position Overview

The firm is seeking a Partner to lead and expand its industrial development platform across the Southeast. Based in Atlanta, this individual will have full strategic and operational responsibility for the region, including sourcing, execution, capitalization, team leadership, and overall P&L performance.

Current target markets include Atlanta, Nashville, Charlotte, and Savannah, with additional expansion anticipated. This role offers true end-to-end ownership and accountability, with the opportunity to scale an established platform and build long-term enterprise value.

The Partner will serve as the regional face of the firm, cultivating key brokerage, capital, customer, and community relationships while driving disciplined growth across development and value-add investments.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Growth

  • Define and execute the regional industrial development strategy
  • Identify new market expansion opportunities across the Southeast
  • Establish market positioning, product strategy, and capital deployment plans

Deal Origination and Execution

  • Source speculative and build-to-suit development opportunities and value-add acquisitions through deep brokerage and industry relationships
  • Lead underwriting, structuring, and negotiation of transactions
  • Present investments to the firm’s Investment Committee and drive approvals
  • Oversee due diligence and entitlement processes, mitigating risk and maximizing value

Capital Formation

  • Partner with Managing Partners on capital raising initiatives
  • Support investor relationships and participate in capital partner communications

Development and Operations Oversight

  • Provide executive oversight of design, budgeting, and construction execution
  • Guide asset management strategy to optimize leasing, cash flow, and long-term value
  • Oversee leasing strategy and disposition execution

Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing regional team
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and entrepreneurial ownership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully sourcing and executing industrial development projects
  • Experience managing regional P&L and leading cross-functional teams
  • Strong relationships within Southeastern brokerage and capital markets communities
  • Sophisticated underwriting and financial analysis skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate autonomously
  • Willingness to travel throughout the region
