Summary

As part of its continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Vice President of Investments to join the team. As a key member of a broader investment team, the Senior Vice President will source and execute acquisition, structuring, and financing of institutional-grade commercial assets. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive all investment related processes and value creation.

Along with the broader investment team, the successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, structuring, and executing real estate investment opportunities while directing capital markets activities across the portfolio. This individual will support the firm’s strategic growth by playing a role in key lender and investor relationships and ensuring disciplined underwriting, due diligence, and financing execution. The SVP will work closely with executive leadership, acquisitions, asset management, and external partners to advance the firm’s investment objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Play a key role in the sourcing, assessment, execution and structuring of acquisitions, developments, joint ventures, and financings across target markets and property types in coordination with senior leadership.
• Oversee underwriting, financial modeling, valuation, market research, and investment committee materials.
• Coordinate and execute due diligence activities, including third-party reporting, legal review, financial analysis, and investment committee presentations.
• Structure and negotiate transactions in coordination with legal counsel and senior leadership.
• Formulate investment strategies aligned with firm-level objectives and market conditions.
• Help manage capital markets initiatives, including debt financing, refinancing, and lender relationship management alongside senior management.
• Source and maintain relationships with banks, life companies, debt funds, brokers, and other capital providers.
• In conjunction with executive leadership, evaluate and execute the firm’s joint venture, programmatic partnership, co-investment, and fund-level activity, including fund-level analysis and reporting.
• Monitor capital markets trends, pricing, and macroeconomic indicators to inform portfolio and financing strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related discipline required; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred.
• Significant real estate investment, capital markets, or private equity experience with a demonstrated record of investments execution.
• Experience across multiple property types—such as industrial, office, life science, and mixed-use—is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience managing complex capital structures and institutional partnerships and lenders.
