With a background in commercial brokerage at companies like Trammell Crow and Trinity Partners, Kimball has worked with the best and learned the real estate industry from the ground up. She left the direct real estate business in 2008 and joined Crown Advisors to focus on real estate executive search and became a partner in 2012 and a full owner of the business in 2023.

In 2025, she and her team split off from Crown to form Wood Advisors, a boutique real estate search firm that’s foundation is based on its deep rooted, 30 year track record of solid industry relationships. Kimball prides herself on developing and nurturing those client and candidate relationships, and leading a team of talented recruiters while putting client’s needs first with the utmost attention to detail. Approaching the business with positivity and integrity, she considers finding the right matches for both clients and candidates to be rewarding and a privilege. She is not a salesperson, but rather a trusted advisor and knows the importance of not only finding the right skillset in a candidate, but also how critically important it is to find the right fit within a company’s culture.

Kimball is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and holds real estate licenses in North Carolina and Washington, DC. A member of ULI, Real Estate Round Table, ICSC, and NAIOP, Kimball is also involved with her children’s school and participates in local children’s charities in the Washington area. You might find her outside of work hiking the trails, exploring new destinations, or selling girl scout cookies.
