With over a decade of experience in commercial real estate, finance, public company, and REIT leadership, Leah joined the launch of Wood Advisors in 2025.
Leah began her career in investment banking at FBR Capital Markets and later served as an analyst with Phillips Realty Capital. She then began a nine-year tenure with Federal Realty Investment Trust, a leading retail-focused REIT, advancing through progressive leadership roles from Associate to Vice President. While there, she partnered closely with institutional investors, analysts, and the executive team, and gained a nuanced perspective on talent and leadership in the commercial real estate sector. This experience provided Leah valuable skills for success in the industry, as well as deepened her understanding of how people strengthen an organization together.

Leah earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and she’s been recognized as a top Investor Relations Professional for REITs in Institutional Investor’s All-America Executive Team rankings. Outside of work, you may find her chasing around her three children, diving into a good book, or volunteering.
